Description
The Bass Caribbean Blue, known as Serranus tortugarum, is a small and visually appealing fish that makes an excellent addition to marine aquariums. This species is known for its striking coloration, featuring an orange/purple body with electric blue vertical bands, adding a vibrant splash of colour to any tank.
As a reef-safe fish, the Caribbean Blue Bass is well-suited for community aquariums with coral reefs. It prefers having several hiding spots and refuges among the rocks, which is important for its sense of security and comfort.
