This species is predominantly found in the Indian Ocean, particularly in the Western Indian Ocean region. The Cream Angelfish is noted for its unique colouration; it has a dark brown face and body scales tipped with brown to black, giving it a speckled appearance. The most striking features are its yellow caudal fin and the silvery-white outline on its dorsal fin. Its body is primarily cream-coloured, complemented by black fins bordered with white. Interestingly, there are no significant differences in appearance between male and female specimens. Adapting readily to aquarium life, the Cream Angelfish adds a touch of elegance and vibrancy to marine aquariums, making it a prized choice for aquatic enthusiasts.
