Details
A very attractive fish, the body is generally quite iridescent giving the impression of several colours and bars, achieving 12.7-15.2cm (5-6 ").
Green Terrors are best kept alone or with robust catfish such as Plecos in a large tank. If you wish to keep them with other species of Cichlid you'll need plenty of room to allow for territories. This fish can really live up to its common name!
Feed up to three times a day including pellets and flake as well as daphnia and brine shrimp but be careful not to over feed.
They are best kept in larger spacious well-filtered tanks with lots of rocks, hardy plants, and some driftwood with caves for hiding places. Being Cichlids, they do dig, and plants will probably get uprooted in the process. Keep water at a temperature of 20 -24 °C (68-75.2°F).
